Not only do I love to cook, but I also love learning little tricks around the kitchen.
Because…um…do I need a reason?
Making my life {that} much easier is clutch.
Well my friends, last year I read an article about scallions. You can regrow them. True statement. Kind of cool.
Not that they’re completely and ridiculously overpriced, it’s still nice to save a dime or two as well as add some green to your windowsill!
After using them in your favorite recipe, save the white ends and put them into a glass with water. {Don’t submerge them completely.}
Leave the scallions in a place where they can receive sunlight.
Before you know it {…2 weeks} they’ve completely regrown!
Out of control even.
{I added more scallions after the first picture, by the way. They didn’t just randomly multiply.}
Add them to your favorite chili or any other dish….and then put them right back in the glass.
There you go!
You just learned how to regrow scallions.
I made your day. {hmmm…probably not…}
