Here’s the deal.
I buy a bunch of bananas every week.
They’re delicious. Who doesn’t love a banana? But…when I’m in a hurry, packing my lunch in a jiffy or grabbing a breakfast on the fly, I often forget about them.
They just sit there. Lonely. In my fruit basket.
While the ripe fruit sometimes inspires me to make banana bread or banana muffins, all of the other times I cut them up, individually bag and freeze them.
I throw them in a smoothie and not only do they add a ton of flavor, but because they’re frozen, I don’t have to add any ice!
