It’s basic. Boring even. But it’s my little trick to make things look fancy.
Ha {that makes me laugh….because I’m just not fancy.}
I cook basic, everyday recipes using familiar ingredients. That’s not a surprise nor is it anything new, but when I want to dress it up a bit, I cut ingredients at a diagonal.
No extra effort, just a change of direction and all of a sudden it looks so much nicer!
So, that’s my little trick for the day…cut your ingredients at a diagonal. Scallions, carrots, baguettes, whichever works!
